The result was to delete the image.

This orphaned talk page, subpage, image page, or similar is not eligible for speedy deletion under CSD G8 as it has been asserted to be useful to Wikipedia. If you believe it should be deleted, please nominate it on Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion.

1. No other free, reasonable portrait of the artist exist. There are a few concert photos floating around the web, however, the artist is too small and cropping would produce a grainy photo.
2. The portrait helps to visually explain the mood of the artist. There are no free photos that accomplish this so well.
   1. It would be very cumbersome to replace the image with text. Even then, the text could not adequately explain the self-portrait's intimations.
3. This small self-portrait could only enhance commercial opportunities for this retired artist.
