Because the thing that called itself "National Socialist" was a political party, not the country of Germany. The name of Germany at the time was "Deutsches Reich" (German Empire or German Realm). Sure, it was ruled by a political party that had the word "socialist" in its name, but so is France right now (see Socialist Party (France)). So why isn't France lit? Because the word "socialist" is in the name of the party, not the country. If we were to lit up every country that was ever ruled by a party with "socialist" in its name, we would have to lit up almost the entire world. First of all, that constitution did not pass, so it's a moot point. But secondly, that constitution was merely called "socialist" by some conservatives.
