**Original** – A rather realistic painting depicting the backyard of the stonemasons, on the bank of the Grand Canal. People are working, gondoliers are floating on the canal, kids are playing ... the laundry is drying.

Reason: Painting by Canaletto, Italian painter of Venice, painted around the 1720s. The painting is considered one of Canaletto's finest works. His works are known for their accuracy: details of the painting show the everyday life in Venice.
